What Your Online Gas Bill Shows
The online gas bill is identical to the paper bill in every line item. It shows: the billing month and meter reading period, previous and current meter readings, total cubic metres consumed, the slab-rate breakdown of gas charges, the fixed monthly service charge, GST at 17%, the Infrastructure Development Surcharge, any outstanding arrears from prior months, the total payable amount, and the due date. If arrears appear and you believe the prior bill was paid, cross-check the due date on the previous bill against the date the payment was processed by your bank or wallet.
